Lafourche parish has ok'd it's residents to return beginning at 4pm today. However, the curfew is still in effect beginning at 6pm. Power is out and not expected to return anywhere from 1 to 4 weeks. My brother in law is a Tier 1 First Responder through the Greater Lafourche Port Commission and was able to get back home today. He was able to check out our home. Luckily, no visible major damage. Our community, though has sustained severe structural damage. My husband and I will try to head back on Thursday to fully check out our home. I will continue to pray for all those effected by this storm. I ask that you continue to pray as well. God bless you all.
