Create elegant home decor with products from Stampin' Up! In Louisiana and most of the southern region , the fleur-de-lis is HOT!!! Using an ordinary black 4x6 frame, I created this beautiful accent for my home office desk.
I cut a 4x6 piece of Groom Specialty designer series paper for my base. Next, I sponged Encore gold metallic ink using the fleur-de-lis stencil from the new Elegant Trio decor stencils (118262) on a piece of Basic Black textured card stock. Since that ink is a pigment ink, I also embossed the image with Gold embossing powder for a little more texture and glitz! I backed that onto Brushed Gold card stock after using the Ticket Corner punch on each of the corners. I believe it turned out stunning! Today, I think I'll make one for Mardi Gras!
