Every year, I pamper my hostesses with an event like no other. Anyone who hosted a workshop (including club members) during the past Stampin' Up! year was invited. Seven hostesses came and created a few projects - some with new products from the upcoming catalog! We also said goodbye to a few old favorites. Each person that attended also received 3 prizes from stamp sets to rub ons and other accessories.
Stampin' Supplies: Carte Postale*, Print Pattern*, En Francais stamp set; Basic Black, Almost Amethyst, Bashful Blue, Glossy White cardstock; Lavender Lace, Bashful Blue, Pretty In Pink, Basic Black Classic Ink; VersaMark ink; Black embossing powder; sponge daubers, Ticket Corner punch; black gingham ribbon
*Retiring as of August 10, 2008. Click here to view the Retired List.
This project was cased from Barb Mulikin. Thanks for the inspiration Barb! I used a different stamp set than she did. The set from Simple Delights Simply Sent kit coordinates beautifully with the new Bella Rose Designer Series Paper. Isn't this paper gorgeous? While making this note card pouch, I thought about using the small open-end envelopes to make a coupon pouch. Stay tuned for a class kit
Pictured are 2 note cards (see page 167 of the Spring Summer Collection 08). Both are very simple, but very elegant. Did I mention that I love this paper?
This 12x12 Scrapbook Page uses the East Coast Prep Designer Series Paper, Large and Small Star, Spiral, and My Way punches, and Anchored Rub Ons. I love the colors. The base is Wild Wasabi textured cardstock. Don't forget Wild Wasabi is a 2008 In Color. It will retire as of August 10, 2008.
I can just see my kids on their first day of school. Isn't this page perfect for back to school photos?
This is one of my favorite projects! Want to know why? It's because it was so easy to do and really got a WOW! Flip Flop Wine Glass Coasters are a great way to start your party off on the right "foot"!! Don't they look like little flip flops for your glass?
Of course, these flip flops are "blinged" up with Flower Fusion accents and rhinestone brads. I made each one a little different so when my guests use them, they'll know which glass is theirs.
Want to attend the next hostess appreciation party? Make sure to get your next workshop on my calendar now!
